      The town of Troutman is getting ready to explode! We are the next town set for development along interstate 77 . According to a recent study done by analyst Frank Warren of Warren & Warren Associates , Iredell county is expected to grow by nearly 40,000 new residents a 26.6% increase by 2015. The highest growth will take place at the lake near Troutman. The population in this area is expected to grow by 50%. Troutman is a very attractive town mostly because of its location next to two major interstates I77 & I40 allowing people easy access to surrounding cities. Troutman is also located next to Lake Norman State Park consisting of 1600 acres the park offers many amenities including: 13miles of mountain bike trails, walking trails, camp sites, canoe rentals, a swimming area and beach, fishing areas, and boat ramps. The Troutman North Carolina / Lake Norman area is a great places to live.
